My Daughter who is 5 1/2 months old was sleeping through the night minus waking up once for a feed at 3am. In the last week, she has been waking up every hour, screaming and we can't get her back to sleep. The past few nights i have brought her to bed with me cause i was just so tired and she slept ok, but how can i get her to sleep like she use to?
Does any1 know why she might be doing this? it is very frustrating.

Teeth? Earache? Have you changed laundry powder lately, maybe her sheets are irritating her?
Good luck, it's hard dealing with upset bubby when you're sleep deprived too.
My immediate suggestion would be to co-sleep  that's what we do and life is great, even if he was waking every hour I wouldn't have to get out of bed so even though I don't get much sleep I'm still rested, IYKWIM. But co-sleeping isn't for everyone.

 I spose it could be her teeth, nothing else has changed lately.

Hi,
There's 101 reasons why babies at this age wake up so many times during the nites. Could it be that she's hungry? Does she get enough feeds during the day? Maybe she needs to start on solids? Maybe she has wind and needs to burped more often after each feed? or maybe she just wants comfort?
My 7 month old girl still wakes a few times during the nite but this is because she's teething, she's been teething since she was 3 months old, her first tooth came through at4 months.
Anyway I hope my suggestions help, I'm getting used to waking up so many times during the nites now that it doesn't really bother me anymore because during the day I have a sleep with her as well........
Good luck!
