When did you find out?

Just wondering how far along you were when you discovered there was more then one little bubba in your belly?

I don't have twins but my friend does and she found out when she went for her 12 weeks scan

6 weeks at the dating scan.

I know someone who didn't till 18 weeks & another who didn't till she delivered at 28 weeks.

Hi it was at my 8 week dating scan totally unexpected :D

I found out at my 12 week scan. I didn't have a dating scan!

7 weeks - I had an u/s cause i had a small bleed, 2 sacs, 2 hearts beating away, very exciting!!!

at 6 weeks. Had a scan thanks to a small bleed and saw two sacs with two fetal poles. Follow up scan at 8 weeks revealed their heartbeats :)

hi neonpink, I had my twins nearly 30 years ago and scans were not so common in those days. I found out I had two babies when the second was born. I had four minutes to get my head around the thought that I was having twins. Marie.

found out last week! 5.4 weeks! TOTAL surprise cos no twins at all in both families....and this will be our 2nd and 3rd!!!!

At 8 weeks

After two previous miscarriages I wanted assurance of a heartbeat in the scan - and they found two heartbeats!

Went in there expecting bad news but certainly wasn't expecting the news that there were two on board!

Wouldn't change it for the world now :goodvibes:

6 weeks at the dating scan... we were told not to get too excited and to have another scan at 8 week scan because it was so early.

The pictures were a little blurry but could see two distinct eggs with a black dot in the middle...

at first when the sonographer was doing the scan...she stopped all of a sudden and my hubby and I looked at each other cos we were really worried something was wrong....then she asked if it was ivf...that's when we had our first hint there could be TWO!!!

i will try and work out how to scan the large xrays we got...may have to ask my dh...hehe

I found out at 6 weeks - I'm now nearly 8 weeks, and I'm still freaking out! I feel so much better when I read your post joshcamgrandma - 4 minutes! OMG!!!!!!

12 weeks I found out I was pregnant 14 weeks I had the scan :)

and I cried and cried and cried and cried

I'll never forget the sonographer she said congratulations
and I'm like thanks...
She says do you know why I'm saying congratulations
