C&K Arnwood Place at Ekibin/Tarragindi (next suburb over) is fantastic. Can be hard to get into but definitely worth it.

There is a very good one near nursery road closer to cavendish road. My cousin took her daughter there. It only takes children from 18 months and I know they do have a waiting list (nbot sure how long) but I have heard so many good things about them. My cousin travelled from ashgrove to take her daughter there because they were so hands on with the children and manners were essential. They were big on teaching the children about sharing and working together. My cousin has since moved to north queensland and has had her daughter try out mulitple day cares because she is finding so far they all have bullying etc. This one doesnt. I forgot the name of it. but its near nursery road and has a long drive way that goes down to the day care centre. It has a sign and phone number on the fence.

Its not the one on holland park road and its not the one on seville road. Hope this helps??? If I think of it I will post back, otherwise I am going that way tomorrow I can get the details and post anyway. Definately worth a look into though.

Would you consider Coorparoo? Koala Lou on Cav rd is a really good centre. Bit more expensive then most and wait list can be long but they actually have decent long term staff.

Mt Gravatt West C & K....our daughter has been there for nearly 3 years and our son will start next year.

FANTASTIC! I could not be happier with the centre. It's very family friendly, wonderful long term staff....my husband describes it as "real"....not sterile and white!

They are just off Nursery Rd down towards the freeway....there are lots of parents from Holland Park area who bring there kids there.

PS...it's a daycare from 6 weeks not just a C & K Kindergarten......

I sent my boys to the Holland Park Child Care Centre on Seville road for 2.5 years (until we moved out here). I can not fault it. It was the absolute best experience. The director is awesome, the staff are lovely. I've reccomended it a few friends now and they are sooooo happy there.

I miss it. :crying: They are awesome.

Seriously give them a call. Speak to Mel or Nadine, and tell them Gretel (that's me) has raved about them.

They take children from 15months.

I'm still friends with them all. It's a 'family' not just a centre. No one is a number. They know all the kids, all the families, all the siblings.

And soooo many times I'd drop the boys off to be greeted with comments like "Hello D... boys, wow, look at those snazzy new haircuts!" Or "How was your little brothers birthday?" or "What did you do on your weekend with grandma?"

It was so nice to be part of a centre that really took an interest in all the kids.

And when we left they threw the boys a party, gave them all t-shirts, even Julian who wasn't even old enough to go yet (they gave it to Julian- Almost a 'Little Bear') :cloud9: Aww so thoughtful. And they'd put together a gorgeous photo album with heaps of pics of the boys and their friends, and little anecdotes from all the staff about different memories or funny moments they had with the boys.

I love Holland Park Child Care Centre...

(oh and they have a facebook page too)

Hi 2shoes I am not 100% sure of that one. Is that the one just going down the hill from Logan rd towards cavendish rd? I know that Marshall rd turns into holland rd (didn't think there was 1 the other direction) not sure of it's name (the one on holland rd towards cav rd) but I have only heard bad things sorry. The one I mentioned earlier in this thread I couldn't remember the name of either lol but I did check it out the other day and it's on Eric rd/st holland park. I KNOW they are excellent. Good luck
