I am so happy- I had my 12 week scan today and everything is looking brilliant!

I was told by a "friend" some weeks ago that I would miscarry at 11 weeks (he did some kinseiology stuff which was super specific) and it turns out it was wrong!

:smiliedance:Woo hoo!!! I've been freaking out for ages and trying to keep myself calm- and now I'm very happy :yelclap:

I read your OP, and couldn't believe a friend would say that to you! The first 12 weeks are scary enough! I'm glad everyone has worked out well and you can relax a bit more now. Congrats and good luck for the rest of your pregnancy! :D

Congrats!
And I wouldnt pay much attention to peoples 'predictions'
I was told by my nanas 'psychic' friend that I wouldnt carry DD to term, and that she would be a boy.
(And I was pregnant with twin girls, so she was WAY off)
hope the next 30 odd weeks go well!

congratulations! I'm with the other ladies. Said 'friend' is a tool. i mean why say that, even if you predicted it. Wouldn't you say something like you're going to feel challenged etc. Don't feel you're alone.

Congrats on pregnancy :)
I am a little shocked a friend would tell u that !! Honestly why would a friend tell u that and stress u out ?? Me personally would not clasify them as a friend, but that's just me, I don't know them so it may be wrong of me to say that..
Enjoy your pregnancy & don't stress just enjoy this wonderful time, and the wonderful bub to be that is growing inside!!

Yay!! Massive congrats!! :smiliedance:

I rememeber your original post! How is your relationship with your 'friend' going now that it proves he is a tool and has no idea what he's talking about...?

So glad you kept us updated.... again, congrats! Great news...! :D

So happy for you. I hope this so-called "friend" is not someone that you would trust for advice in the future and that they've learned their lesson.

I'm just over 13 weeks pregnant with #2 and have found a very helpful and supportive group of ladies in the January 2011 thread and welcome you to join us if you haven't already.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. :babydust2:

I honestly think that is just ridiculous, that a friend would say such a thing. Makes positive thinking a challenge!

I'm glad all is well with bub. :goodvibes:
