I don't know if anyone has any experience of this but we are thinking of taking our car seat over to Europe - we leave next week (!!).

This is because the car hire companies won't do one-way rentals with car seats.

I thought maybe thsi wouldn't work because do they have a different system over there? Does anyone know??

Thanks!!

Sue

Ask the hotel you are staying at if they do hire for babies... Most good hotels these days have prams, carseats etc for rent while you stay. How annoying for you that they don't do one way hire! Give them another call and ask if the bolt system is the same over there otherwise it's extra weight you are carrying around with you. Hopefully a bubhubber can shed some light on this for you :) Enjoy your trip!

My SIL took their two carseats last year without a problem. One was a convertible seat and the other a booster. You shouldn't have any worries.:)

Hello, well I finally found a car rental agency that will rent out teh car seat (yay). So now I just have to hope that it works out alright and that it is there when we pick up the car! I will let you all know when we come back!!
Thanks
