Oral thrush

Last night i had a cuppa and then felt scratch or something on the back of my throat felt weird. I had a look in the mirror and one of my tonsils has white stuff on it. Im going to the drs this arvo. My throat isnt sore but wondering if its oral thrush as i have never had it before i dont know. Bought some yogurt with the abc cultures so maybe that will work

Not sure what you have however I have had white stuff that sits at the back of the throat and when I cough or sometimes I scratch it off.. It smells if you squeeze it but I have had it for a while now.. I think oral thrush is white all over the roof of the mouth and sides and looks like milk.. well it did on my 2 babies..

If you find out tell me as it sounds like what I have..

Funnily enough, I just picked up a leaflet about this at the hospital today. For oral thrush it recommends;

Make a mouthwash of 1 cup Tea Tree Solution mixed with 1/2 litre of water and gargle to sooth discomfort (do not swallow)

thanks. Well i went to the drs and after all that he said its bread or something stuck on my tonsil. phew i was so stressed
