Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm a second year Bachelor of Midwifery student at ACU Melbourne.
As a part of my course I'm required to follow the pregnancy journey of pregnant women, supporting them from when they are pregnant (before 35 weeks) until 6 weeks after the birth.
It's a fantastic way for me to learn (really beats lectures, I learn so much more this way) and for you an additional support person (If you choose to have me at your birth I can be in charge of drinks, or if you need any info I can find some recent research evidence)
If you are interested in this extra support, I would love to hear from you! It's completely confidential, you can pull out any time, and it is completely up to you whether you want me at your birth (and you can decide on the big day if you're not too sure).
A follow through journey is a great way for student midwives to learn, and I hope equally as valuable for the mothers :)
