What DPO did you get your BFP?

Just curious!! I got a BFN this morning using a First Response on 13DPO. The pack however said that the test is to be used after a missed period - so am assuming I tested too early!?

HI i used that Brand for last preg. I was two days late past AF and i had a very very very feint 2nd line appear, at 4 days past af i did it again and it was darker but not really dark. I also m/c so assume i would have had low HCG so that may be why it wasn't very dark....
I'd wait a few days and try again or try a differnt hpt!

Julie as you know I got my BFP on 15DPO the line was def there but wasn't as dark as the controll line. I say you are still in with a huge chance for your BFP, just need to wait a little longer :yes:

I used the fortel one and got a line on the day my period was due, but it was quite faint.

Did another one 2 days later that was more definite, but it still took a few minutes for it to really be seen, so don't throw it away immediately...

Thanks Guys!! No wonder they say don't test early!! I'll buy a more sensitive one and test again on the weekend!!

I'm preg now and it took 2 weeks for the test to turn up positive i say don't give up hope till the true AF arrives , i tried about 3 different tests as well

I got a very feint BFP on about DPO 18. If I'd have tested any earlier it probably wouldn't have come up.

Julie, mine was on 14dpo.. Unbelievably feint, same again on 15dpo.

I got a faint line at 15DPO (although going by the dates given at my ultrasound, it may have been 17DPO). Two days later my blood HCG was 3,450.

SO - at 15DPO even though my blood HCG would have been over 1,000, that HPT line was faint.

Therefore: Julie - it's DEFINITELY not over till AF rears her ugly head!

I don't know about mine. I tested last Friday (day AF was due) and BFN. Tested on Monday afternoon and the line was REALLY REALLY dark - as dark as the control line, and came up as fast, like 2 lines before the wee had travelled up the stick !!

So, don't give up hope until AF rears her head. Wait a day or two after she's due. It's hard not to test early, but it's expensive and most often a waste of time :)

I got mine at 17DPO and it was really faint too. I kept testing over the next week and the line did get a bit darker but never the same as the control line :fingerscrossed: for you

Just a question - to those who didn't get a +ve or faint +ve til after AF was due, was that even with using a sensitive test? or is it the same no matter what?
I'm not due for AF for another 4 days - but those sensitive tests give you all this hope that you can find out early - very annoying! :banghead:
