Did Anyone else watch four courners Wednesday night, It was about the aids epidemic in PNG...It showed a hospital with not enough beds for patients the hospital cannot even afford to feed the patients, the families are responsible for feeding them, They dont have enough aids medication for them, A big wig from some department in PNG spoke of them having wharehouses full of medicines , But due to the lack of education etc for the people, They cannot give the medicine out...its so hard to believe in this day and age that such a simple thing as medication is not availale to every man woman and child...the saddest thing was seeing a lady who had been infected by her husband, And in turn she gave birth to two hiv babies and they passed away while quite young, And the hospital refused to help these dying babies because they had aids. :crying:
Because of the PNG culture people living with Aids are shunned and abandoned. And even in death people do not want anything to do with the family members the morgue was overflowing with bodies needing to be buried...
i hope this post does not offend anyone , not my intention at all but i was just made me so sad to see people having to experience such a terrible time...i wish there was something i could do to help...

I didnt see this, But :crying: that is so sad. We are so lucky in Australia not to be living under conditions like these. So many countries are living in appauling conditions.
