View Full Version : Does anyone have anything good to report?
Hi there, just wondering in all our drama's has anything nice or good happened to any single mum's out there?
I can say Chanel is my angel and this website - yes call me curious as I was just wondering if there is light at the end of the tunnel with the challenges of being a single mum

would love to know when i will find the end of the tunnel :detective:
I have to admit that, with the help of the FTB supplements helping me pay the bills, its now really nice to be on a even keel and have the extra money to be able to treat Bug to a nice day out every fortnight. Now i just have to figure out where to take her!

The light is already there. Its the little human beings we brought into this world and love and cherish.
Life can be tough, oh boy don't I know that. But one thing I do know, is no matter what comes our way, we will conqueur it.
Being a single parent really didn't make much difference to me, wether i had a partner or not. My ex was a work-a-holic so always did everything myself anyway. Nothings changed, I just don't have to consult anyone on the way I run my life. that is a GOOD thing.
Life is good. No matter what curve balls it throws us.

I have to say as a single mum for me there hasnt been much trouble. They could never locate DS's father so i never have to deal with the idiot again. I still live at home too so no bills for me.. yay.. we do want to save for a holiday to china or thailand or something. The only trouble we've had has been with ds himself with the 2 days of constant carrying and screaming before he cut his first 2 teeth. and then yesterday with the teeth grinding because he's teething again. hope everyone else is loving being parents.

my biggest issue is just small things
like if ben says a new word or does something new
i want to ring his dad and tel him and stuff
but his dad isnt interested and thats what hurts
im still coming to terms with the fact that its just me and ben i know i can do it but its just taking some time for me to not wait for his dad to come home from work at night so i can tel him everything thats happened that day
i love my boy and wouldnt change him for the world
it just hurts that his dad doesnt see the same things i do
yay for all us powerful single mums!!!
:smiliedance: :yelclap:
Who would have thought before we got involved with that jerk who is responsible for helping us create this wonderful life we love so much that we would be able to achieve the things we are faced with on a daily basis?
We are powerful, we are curageous, we are a force to be reckoned with and don't we just know it!
Single mother's have anough 'umph' to rule the world and have the savvy to settle all the disputes, control all the critical financial situations and are able divide 2 into 3 evenly while still able to calmly smooth the rough edges of life with a song and a smile, even if we feel like we are crumbling inside.
I am proud to be me. I am pround to be my DD's mother. I am proud to be a Single Mum and hold my hand out to anyone who needs me cos I can feel the strength I now have to give.
Who's with me?
