Just moved to Brisbane

Hello...

I have just moved to Brisbane from the UK with my Aussie husband and 11 month old daughter.

I am new to the city and I am really keen to make some friends and attend playgroups/ coffee mornings etc.

Has anyone got some suggestions for the best place to start?

We are based in West End.

You could keep an eye out in the brisbane forum section for meetups with other brisbane bubhubbers, for playgroups in your area go on to the playgroup website www.playgroupaustralia.com.au/qld then put in your postcode & it will tell you of all the playgroups around your area.

we are also new to brisbane, and arrived in sydney first from the UK in october.

we are in paddington and have found a local playgroup from website mentioned above too.

i also meet up with some other mums out this way for coffee so if you ever fancy coming along, drop us a PM! :smiliedance:
