Just moved to Brisbane

I have just moved to Brisbane from Bournemouth, England with my Aussie Husband and eleven month old daughter.
I am keen to join some playgroups or coffee groups and was hoping for some suggestions....

We are based in West End. I dont drive so would need to be able to get to them by public transport.

It would be great to get in touch with some other mums...:wave:

i used to be part of an ex pats group in brissy but mainly based around ascot and clayfield. they are very supportive and meet regularly for lunches and tea etc. If you are interested then i can pm you with some details.

i have moved back to the uk now..just a few weeks ago but these people were fab and i loved them all.

I am living in Bournemouth right now and we are planning our move to Australia. Planning on Perth as we know people there and have been there but Brisbane caught our eye too. Partly cos the houses looked cheaper but then i saw some of the scenery around there and it looked lovely!!!!

Anything you can add about Brisbane to help us decide??!!! In comparison to Bournemouth maybe - lol.
