1 bottom tooth, 2 top teeth and another top coming....normal??

Hi!!

As explained in my title, my 9 month old has only 1 bottom tooth, but 2 almost 3 top teeth....!!!

I thought the bottom 2 were meant to pop through before the top ones came in. Should I be worried??

I wouldn't be worried, DD (16 mths) got her 2 bottom teeth then the 2 top ones and she's recently had 2 molars pop through and got another bottom tooth, who knows with these babies :rolleyes:

I always assumed all the small ones would come through 1st but obviously not in DD's case :laughing:

Ds is 8 and a half months and hasn't got any teeth yet :(

It is normal for your bub :-) Don't stress - what is normal for one baby is different to what is normal for another!

It's perfectly normal. My little boy is currently teething again at the moment. He has 4 top teeth, 4 bottom teeth already, but his two "eye" teeth on the bottom are just starting to break through and when we looked in his mouth tonight, he has a molar coming through at the back top right as well. Far from being in order! :laughing:

Don't know if it's normal, but that's exactly what ds has, 1 bottom and 2 top that all came through together, I figured lucky he didn't take after me, I didn't get a tooth till I was 2!!(and now I have lovely teeth;):laughing:)
