Suprise wedding in October while 8months pregnant

DP proposed to me on the weekend on my birthday and we have decided that we are going to have a surprise wedding at our engagement part in October. I want a dress that is affordable and close to home as I really don't want to go looking at every shop. Keeping in mind I will be 8 months pg.

Does anyone know of anywhere close to Manly in Brisbane (Bayside area) that has something nice and affordable?

have you considered ordering something online that is made to measure? you can get alot that way that is cheaper than the shops and theres a fair bit of maternity stuff that way too

i was 6 months pregnant at my wedding but just got a normal dress and my helpfull and creative mum just altered it for me. it works better if you can get a style like a maxi dress that drops from under the bust. that way you can have plenty of room for the belly. i would try formal hire places that are close to you. you can get most formal dresses in white and they are cheaper than fancy wedding dresses.

I can't really help with dress info as im in melb. I just wanted to say, we did the exact same thing in april of this year. I was 23weeks. We had our engagement party...and an hour into it i changed into a wedding dress and we got married! It was so amazing and all our guests loved it. It was SUCH a fantastic night! Have fun planning it all!!

Thank you everyone for you help. I found a dress on the weekend not too far away from my home and it can be made in maternity so it caters for the expanding belly. It's nice and simple yet stylish.
