Hey ladies,
this is not for me, but a friend of mine is planning a homebirth (not where i live sadly, otherwise i'd be able to help her in person).
Anyway, i'm hoping to gather some basic info that i can print and send her about the basics that are important during birth. (ie, what can go wrong, what to look out for).
just things that you felt were really helpful and/or important for you to have read before you gave birth. (if you haven't freebirthed, thats ok - just looking for info that i can put together and send to her).
she hasn't been able to find a midwife in her area, so i'm going to try and help her out with that too - but for now, just basic birth info i think.
i'm struggling with knowing what to give thats appropriate for her level of knowledge, because obviously i personally gravitate to stuff that i don't think my mother would even understand :o and i'm struggling with knowing whats appropriate for her and whats not.
thanks in advance.
