Hi :)

No advice here, but be assured, you are not alone!!!! Andrew is 6 months old and is doing the very same thing...

I just keep telling myself....this too shall pass.....this too shall pass.....

I am constantly telling myself that in a few years time he will be too embarrassed to hang out with me, so I should enjoy the closeness while I can!! It is lovely to be so loved, even if it is sometimes a little suffocating!!

Hi,
I went through the same thing. My Son was a great baby, never crying untill he began teething. Then he wouldn't stop moaning and would cry every time I would put him down.
I found that a cold teething ring worked quiet well for my son.
His two bottom teeth then popped up at 5 1/2 mths and since then he has gone back to his normal self. Thank goodness!
I'm sure it will start up agian shortly though!
So rest assure, your bub will return to his normal self.
:) :) :)

Hi there,
I find teething and separation anxiety the most frustrating times ever and some days you feel like you are going NUTS. No matter how frustrated I ended up getting I realised that there was not much I could do except try and sooth the pain and discomfort as much as possible. You could try just sitting him on the floor infront of you while going to the toilet with a teething ring or even a cold flannel/washer. You could even try very very small bits of crushed up ice for him to suck on. My daughter thought the ice was great but as I say, very very small bits. there is a teething gel / mouth paint that I could get from hospital in Adelaide called chlorhexadine and lygocane (dont know if this is how you spell it) and you put it on their gums with a cotton bud - bloody brilliant stuff.
Mate, he may go though separation anxiety too which is no fun either. This may happen about 1yo and also 2yo and you will find you do everthing in and with them.
All the best, hope my little two bits worth helps.
