I'm feeling like fish and chips but I don't think I'll stomach more than a bowl of soup. I'm making DH, DS and my SIL Chicken with crumbed camebert stuffed mushrooms and some steamed greens. I really miss real food, although it's nice to be able to feel well enough to cook again.

We had a thai sweet chilli stir fry & the kids had chicken curry pasta. I' m not a fan of stir fries this pregnancy, but they're dps faves at the moment.

Not sure yet. Im still getting used to Friday nights as I don't get home until 7pm...mushroom risotto has been a fav lately, or maybe a curry and rice, something quick and easy is the main thing on Friday (preferably leftovers!)

I accidentally defrosted a wad of bacon thinking it was steak....cause they look so alike.

So I am going to make the mish-mash layered pie that comes from the old Commonsense Cookbook. I can't remember what it's called but we learnt how to make it in high school. Chopped bacon & onion in the base, topped with sliced tomato, breadcrumbs and grated cheese. Then mash potato on top sprinkled with parsley. I love it on these cold days.
