I have been away and lying low for a while! Are there any mums and bubs who live near Parramatta or within the local area?

My DF is going away for work soon and I would like to meet some people to keep me busy!!

I'm not that far from Parramatta - in fact I very often go walking in Parramatta Park with my bubs so perhaps you'd like to join me. Just PM me if you are interested in organising something:D .

Hi! Im new to the forum-only found it late last night/early this morning. I live in Granville so not all that far from Parramatta. Where abouts are you?My name is Kate and my daughter is Abigail she's 6 months old. How old are all of your babies? I'd ove to meet up with people on a regular basis. I went to my baby health centre mothers group but it didn't really take off and havent personally made much of an effort since then to initiate or join a mothers group. Anyone interested in starting a Parramatta Park mothers group once a week or fortnight or something"?

Jate1985 - My baby is also 6 months. I have a mothers group but would be keen to do that as well. You might have noticed in some of the other threads that Runningbear organises walks in our area, perhaps you might like to email her. I'm going to go along next time they do a walk hopefully. Feel free to pm me if you are keen to arrange a catch-up.

....so not too far from the Parra area at all. My son is 1 and we get pretty bored as none of our friends with kids live around here. Lets organise a catch up shall we? Why don't we meet at a cafe in Westfield first to get to know each other, then we can go from there? If anyone is interested, please PM so we can get the ball rolling.

I have joined Running bear in parramatta park but the group changes location evry week and if you cant drive like me makes it a bit hard. The group is really nice though
