Recently my DD's rash has gotten worse.

It was first discovered last Thursday, while at the visit to the doctor (for something unrelated) I asked about it and he said to just keep lotion on it as it was just dry patches.

Now it is red, some raw, and seems to be spreading and DD seems to go in for a scratch every now and again but not doing it constantly. It is sort of weeping in 2 of them as its not one hjuge ratch its sort of spread out in patches on her upper chest near her collarbone.

I am concerned but also do not want to wait 2-3 hours at the hospital at night and I know i will be going in the morning to them straight away.

So far I've spent the past hour or so googling rash pictures trying to find out what it is but so far no luck.

Any ideas??

I use Pintarsol, it is one you would bath her in. Both my boys get eczema, and one is 4.5 mths old. They havnt had any eczema since I started using it, or nappy rash or sweat rash or anything, they are rash free :smiliedance: And it is cheap :D

Karisma spoke for me, i say get pinetasol too. its on the racks at any chemist, and non presciption.
Do u know if it is a long term eczema ?? I would go back to your doc and ask him to really check it out!

Best of luck, let us know how u go!:hugs:

From someone that has had eczema for her entire life and now my little girl has it . pinetarsol is definitely fantastic .. I also swear by salt baths as well as it helps me clear up my skin when it gets really bad but I wouldnt recommend that for small ones. .as it can be a little ouchy. .
