My DS is FF (S26 Gold) and usually after a feed he'll throw quite a lot up. He doesn't get hungry again quickly (3-4 hours between feeds) but is it normal to throw up so much?
Also, when I put him in his car seat he throws up heaps - regardless of when I've fed him...
help??? please!
Could just be reflux.
My lil Kailah was exactly the same and was treated for reflux, then it got worse. We discovered that she was actually lactose intolerant. How are his poos? Are they of a pasty consistancy? Any moucas looking bits?
I'd maybe take him to see a paediatricain to see if there is anything they can do to help. Is he gaining weight and content? How much does he drink per feed? and how many feed per day?
Sorry about all the q's just tryiong to get all the info.

yeah, he's a very content baby (my sister is jealous!!)
I make up 5-6 bottles a day for him (240ml) and he usually drinks 1/2 - 3/4 of them.
I haven't been checking his poo's closely!! They can sometimes be runny, sometime pasty - never constipated though (thankfully) - just poo's :o
He is gaining weight and doing stuff (very active - rolling and playing)
Hey P,
My 8 week old BF son is the same.
He's content, sleeps well (usually 8 hours a night atleast) and is growing exactly as the chart's plotted.
It's just that he's always spewing. When we get him in or out of the car seat, anytime really. I'd love a day without spew on me. And it can be embarrassing when friends & family nurse him and they cop it!

I had the same reaction with Harrisson on S26 Gold. We thought he was lactose intolerant too but it was just too thick and heavy for him. I had to try other formulas until I found one that he could hold down. I finally tried SMA which is made by the S26 people anyway and it's only about $12 a tin! Harrisson wouldn't breast feed so he was on it from about 6 weeks and I put both my girls on it after breast feeding.
Hope it settles down soon!:fingerscrossed:
I say, if he is happy and content, and is gaining weight then don't worry too much.
You should worry if he stopps gaining weight or loses weight and is crying all the time, this was my bub.
Just have fun with all the washing!!!..not
I went through a cloth nappy a feed and sometimes a towel too.
