hi there, i'm 8 weeks pregnant and i am trying to work out how i go about choosing a birth hospital etc and choosing a reputable obstetrician.
i was thinking of going to the royal women's beacuse it's close to work and easy for us to get to (we live in the country, about 60 km's from the CBD north of melbourne).
i read somewhere that i may not be able to choose the hospital due to zoning? is this correct? if so, how do i find out which hospital i can go to?
also, can anyone recommend an obsetrician at the royal women's? i will need a caesarian as i had open surgery last year for fibroids. I was thinking also of doing shared care with my GP.
