Kiana has had runny nappies for almost a week. She does have some sort of bug, but doctor said to wait it out as she's not dehydrated and is happy enough.
Any suggestions for making it stop or at least slow down?
I'm changing nappies every 10-15 minutes.
Harrisson has been throwing up too and I'm having trouble keeping up with both of them.
Needless to say Aylish is suffering from middle child syndrome at the moment!

Did the dr take a poo sample to test for a bacterial infection? That usually requires antibiotics to clear it up.

In the meantime, have a search on here for "gastro" and you should find some suggestions on what to feed both of them to help clear up their systems. Generally it is no dairy, no fruit or fruit juice, and lots of clear liquids, rice, potatoes, bread, pasta.. ie starchy foods. If they really will only drink fruit juice or milk then dilute it heavily.

You also have to be super scrupulous about washing your hands, their hands, and dishes/cups they use to avoid reinfection.

This page (http://www.aboutkidshealth.ca/Article.asp?articleID=1961)has heaps of info on coping with diarrhea in toddlers.
