Maternity leave and adoption?

Hey!

Just wondering if anyone knows if maternity leave is still teh same when it comes to adoption or if there are a whole nother set of rules for it?

My workplace (large private company) treats adoption the same as giving birth :yes:

That's great! I have looked through the company policies where I work and can't find anything about adoption.
I would of thought it should be treated the same but you never know hey!

Unless your from WA new laws were introduce that would override any award that states contrary which would give you access to this leave
