DS slept through!

just wanted to share my excitement.

DS (10 weeks) slept through his first night! Mind you we didnt get to bed until 11ish (we used to go to bed at 9 - 9.30). At around 5am, i had to get up and hand express into the bathroom sink due to ouchness. He slept until 6ish, i fed him one side in bed and we both went back to sleep until about 8am. He is happy as now... playing under his playgym. and will prob go back down for his morning nap in an hour or so :)

Only problem is... we were out last night and he wouldnt sleep. Usually he sleeps from around 7pm at home, wakes around 9 then goes back down in his cot. Im thinking he only slept through because he didnt sleep when we were out. How am i gunna duplicate this on nights at home?

:smiliedance: whoo dontcha just love it when they do that! well you could always stay up until 11pm again!

DH starts work around 6am, so we go to bed early usually... its like a set family bed time! But yeah that might be the go :P We are going out again tonight, so ill see if he does it again :)

:smiliedance: congrats on the sleeping through, not sure how you could get him to sleep through though. Maybe try playing with him when hes supposed to go to bed to tire him out a little. Not sure :D

YAY.. that's fantastic.

You may not have to worry about it too much as some babies do tend to start sleeping through around 8-12 weeks... so he might be nice to you and getting into the habit now. :fingerscrossed:
