Dark Marks in Ear

DS2 has dark marks in his ear, looks like birth marks but they were not there yesterday. Does anyone know what they could me? Should I be worried, we might be popping into the health clinic today, so I was going to ask the nurses there too.

Stupid question.... sorry :o .... but have you tried just giving them a wipe to see if it's just wax or something?

Like Razzle said it might be wax or just soap build up. If it doesn't wipe out easil,y put some paw paw ointment on it leave it for awhile (only if it is in the outer ear) this cuts through wax and makes it easy to remove with a cotton bud.

No, not wax - checked that already :D . The health nurse said it could be either bruising or a rash from his virus that he has had. Going to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't come up anywhere else. I am taking him to the doctor this afternoon ( for his diarrhoea) so I might get him to check it out as well.
