I always put them onto disc at home, then wait until Harvey Norman has their 15c per print........but there is usually a limit to 100 photos....

They are a little more expensive, but I've always gotten wonderful results from the Kodak thingys at my local K Mart (Sunnybank Plaza). Your pictures are usually ready the next day, but my sister has had same day service when she's taken them in early in the day and they are not too busy.

either big w or harvey norman
i pay 20c when i go up to my local big w . .couple of hrs later and their . no complaints at all
I always take mine to Big W as well!
I invested in a good printer. You can buy cartridges and paper in bulk on line and pay rock bottom prices cos you're cutting out all the middle men. Then you can print any size you want.
The 8 x 10 prints which cost upwards of $8 at print places costs me around a 10th of the cost (ask Cynara, my house is practically wall-papered with photos of my DD, it looks like I've spent a fortune).
Plus I can change to B&W, print specific sizes I want, no driving to the shops, ques or trying and choose with noise and distraction around as well as your bubs to look after.
Aha, oh yeah, that's right, I rock, mm mmm! :smiliedance:

I agree with Deity it really good idea to get a photo printer if you intend to print lots of photos for a while- we had a really good Epson printer which prints fantastic photos and very cost effective - only prob was ink ran out when we moved here and we discovered Epson have regional cartiridges and dont fit our UK one...so for a while I used the machines and Big W but just the cost was adding up so we paid 70 bucks to have some sent over from UK (ebay) and still works out cheaper and I can just print off when I want and quality fantastic. I use epson premium glossy paper.
To Georgiem: Your little girl is beautiful!
BTW I get my cartridges from ebay too; they are Epson and I get 18 for around $60 including postage. My printer takes the 6 cartidges for BK, C LC, M, LM & Y so that is 3 lots. Not bad when each cartridge at Officeworks or similar range between $20 - $25 each and mine work out at just over $3!! (and I'm not talking copies/compatibles people)
Also, I buy my paper from Big W or K Mart when they have bulk packs on special. Sometimes the Kodak paper is in 2 or even three packs for the same price as one so I will buy 3 bundles for say $60 which works out at $6.66 a pack instead of $20 each. If you get 20 sheets per pack that's just 33c per A4 sheet which can make 1 photo 8 x 10, or 2 photos 5 x 7 or 3 photos 6 x 4.
Big W print 6 x 4 for 22c which is double - and remember the cost goes up substantially when you're talking 5 x 7, 6 x 8, 8 x 10 or full A4. If you do the maths over just one year that works out to be one hell of a saving AND this is Premium Glossy Paper, much better long lasting colour durability and quality than Big W's paper.
So your photos will look nicer, last longer and cost less. :D

Deity - Matilda says thankyou she tries her best!! Charlotte is gorgeous too - she looks like she full of fun!!
Sounds like your Epson similar to ours! Just a shame we have to get ink from UK otherwise our photos would be even cheaper but they were only 25 pounds instead of 60+ if we had bought them in a store over there :)
Charlotte is indeed full of fun, full of energy and giggles. Her nappy also gets quite full and that's a good laugh too!
