Girls hat that will STAY ON

My DD has a terrible problem with hats...and I know she's not alone. She loves to PULL THEM OFF.

Well, today, without meaning to, I stumbled across a cute sunhat which she couldn't manage to pull off.

It had a little string around the neck...made of the same material as the hat (rather than elastic...which DD can manage to get off easily) with velcro.

It was a little dark-coral coloured full-brimmed hat from Pumpkin Patch...and cost me $13. DD wore it most of the afternoon (even though we were inside...lol)...and not once did she try to remove it...and even if she DID try, she couldn't (I know this because she tried to pull it off at hte shops...but couldn't...YES!).

Just thought I'd share...because it seems to be the perfect hat!

Thanks for that information, my DD is now pulling off her hat and it is driving me mad.
Might go check out Pumpkin Patch on the weekend. Did they have any other colour than coral???

gymborees got some gorgeous little hats on sale atm with chin straps, might be worthwhile checking them out

I got dd a beautiful bucket hat from PP today and it was reversable :D

pp also have one with a bit that goes under the chin

My mum brought Porsha a pretty wide brimmed sun hat that I have already lost. We went for a walk a few days ago and returned home without it! Porsha had pulled it off and thrown it out of the pram without me noticing.
