Gender guess- between the legs shot at 12/13 weeks

Ok. I had my 12 weeks scan today (scan put me at 13 weeks but perfectly sure of my dates which have me at 12 weeks 2 days.) I was and am NOT concerned with gender and really didn't have any intention of finding out.... however, THIS has perked my interest!!!!:laughing:

This is a perfect shot of between the legs and I don't see how this can NOT be a boy!!! I asked the sonographer at the end if she could tell and was fobbed off with the "it's too early" blah blah, but if this isn't boy bits what is it??:confused:

I'd say boy for sure as well!!!

Oooooh... it's a tough one... You generally can't tell the sex due to the "bump" between the legs at that gestation, because a girl's bits would be very swollen still...

I may be able to see the beginning of 3 lines though, which would indicate a girl...

I can't really help too much though, I never got a between-the-legs shot of my girl, and although we got 2 nub shots, one was girl-looking and the other was boy-looking haha.

Hmmm... I think it's a hard one too! My little girl kinda looked like that at 12 weeks too. My DS2 was REALLY obvious at 12 weeks - more than your scan, you could easily see his doodle pointing straight to the sky!

I think it's probably a little early to tell as both boys and girls can look the same from that shot at 13 weeks :yes:

I'm going to say girl, because I think I can see 3 little gaps which could indicate 3 white lines or more of a 'fork' look. Hard to tell though, you need a side on view :)

Im going girl as well because it looks like the shot we got of DD2 at 13 weeks.... :)

i would say a girl too them 3 lines are very clear but then again its early days

Wll I am quite excited now as it could go either way- I was sure it was a boy!! You would think 4th time around I would know a bit more about scans:o
