I know there's a thread for this in another section but was wondering if any of the twin/ triplet mums use/used them? And if so what do/did you think of them? How often do/did you change the liner?

I never used them. I think it doesn't matter how tight you wrap nappies... they still stink.

Best to change bubs and then put the nappies in the bin outside.

In the end I switched to cloth nappies when O and J were 2, and wish I'd done it earlier... It was noticeable not having the smell of nappies around the place, in the bin.

But if cloth nappies aren't your thing, I'd just reccomend sticking the nappies in a nappy sack and throwing them in the main garbage bin outside.

Nope. I have a small bin in our laundry reserved just for nappies which has a tight fitting lid. Every nappy gets put in a nappy sack then into this bin which is emptied into the garbage bin outside at the end of each day.

Nope. I had a swing top tidy with pretty smelling bags next to their change table.

There is no hiding from a explosive newborn nappy.

Yes I do. I have one in the twins room upstairs and it is great. No smells at all - have to empty it every 4 - 5 days on average and there is no odour leakage what so ever.
Downstairs at our change station we just use nappy sacks (coles brand), they are just as effective - if your happy enough to put it straight in out side bin.

Not for my twins as we use cloth now, but I used disposables for DD1 and used them then. It was great until about 11-14months when she was weaned off the boob and was eating more foods. By then - no nappy wrapper could contain the smell, and you could smell the poop as soon as you entered the room.

If you were going to get one, i'd look for one on the cheap as they are expensive for what they are and the refills are not cheap either. TBH I'd go for cloth :p  but since that is not for everyone - stick to the biodegradable nappy sacks. You can twist the opening and re-use for 4 nappies or so depending on size. Poo's straight out after a certain age anyway!

I used one for the singletons and found it ok, but there's just too many nappies with twins and I found it was nearly always full. I've just switched to using mainly MCN and gave the nappy wrapper bin away.
