Baby shops in Darwin?

I was just wondering where you but your baby stuff up here?

Iv been to Little Rompers and Toy World & also the large chain stores like BigW, Kmart & Target..

But I was wondering is there anywhere else? Or is that about it?

Any help would be wonderful :thumbsup:

Do you mean toys? There are some good wooden ones at Nightcliff Post Office.

I don't live in Darwin so this isn't the best of advice but my partner was working up there in the police and I went to visit when I was 28 weeks pregnant. As he was going to be away for most of the pregnancy I wanted to show him the pram I was interested in. We looked everywhere but could only find Toy R us I think it was and all the chains like you have mentioned. My partners friend rang some of his friends that had kids and asked them where you could shop for bubs and they said you need to buy most things online.

If I could handle moving away from family I reckon it would be worthwhile opening a baby shop up there and cornering the market. I hope you can find some of the things you need. goodluck.

Depending on what kind of baby things you're after, there are also a couple of little shops with clothing & accessories:

Mums & Bubs @ Hibiscus
Bellycan Maternity @ Oasis in Palmerston.

And Jellybeans in town has clothing etc - no idea on the prices etc though.

Jellybeanz is defo more premium stuff - good for gifts, beautiful clothes, a few bags etc. Also Humidity on Cavenagh Street has a lovely little baby corner with toys, clothes and gifts.

There is also a new shop called Little Lambs next to the video rental place at Casuaringa (behind Cas Square, next to the Police station).

I just bought a stroller from pramwarehouse - including shipping it was still $25 cheaper than getting it at Toy World.

Little rompers in coconut grove has new owners and they have been restocking like mad including all new ranges. I have seen things that i usually see on the net in there inc locally made linen and clothing. go and check it out because they are pretty good at looking into new stock.:D
