We have moved Brayden up to the 'Big Bath' with a towel on the bottom. Only problem is he gets alot of water in his ears, and I have heard that boys especially are prone to ear infections, can you by ear plugs for babies??
Also he has a thing with wet washers when I am trying to wash him, he grabs the washer and sucks all the water out of it, if you try take it off him he screams, I've tried giving him toys etc, but he loves his washer, is bathwater bad for bubs??? Or how do I stop him from wanting the washer...
Thanks guys :)

I never worried about getting my kids ears wet and as for the face washer I am yet to find anything that is more appealing to a baby in the bath. I have long gived up trying to stop my son sucking the face washer, it didn't hurt my daughter so I figure a little bath water wont hurt him ether.

Don't worry. I don't think bath water is bad for our lil one. Thomas has been 'drinking' the bath water from sucking the face washers for many months now lol. (He always have bath with us every night since he was around 3 months old) and he's never been sick ever...no problem with his ears either.

As far as the ear infection thing, you should only worry when you share the water with strangers i.e. public swimming pool...

I don't know how old your son is but maybe he is clingy to the washer because he is teething and it sooths his gums. When you get the opportunity play a game with him lying on his back and try and get his mouth open enough for you to have a look around. Just a thought...
