New PlayGroup Nth/West Brisbane

I am new to this but thought it might be a good way to start a new playgroup. I have not been involved with a playgroup before and have had trouble finding one in my area that has vacancies. So I thought I would see if there was any interest out there for a new one. I live on the Nth/West side of Brisbane. I work 3 days a week so would be interested to hear from other mums with babies/toddlers who are available on a Thursday or Friday to meet up at parks/rotate our homes or even a coffee sometimes, anywhere between The Gap and Arana Hills (I live in between).
I would love it to be a friendly get together where the kids can play and hopefully the mums can form a friendship. I am 35 and my son is 2.

I live at The Gap and have a 17mth old son.

We go to a playgroup at The Gap at RiverCity church. Its not a Playgroup Qld playgroup....its a casual, drop in whichever week you feel like type thing. Its $2 a day and you just bring a piece of fruit or something healthy for the kids to share at morning tea. There is always room for more kids!

I'd be interested in meeting up locally as well, but I don't have a car, so it would have to be within walking distance of home.

can you tell us more about the playgroup in the Gap?

we are in paddington, and have recently got transport :smiliedance: so we can get out a bit more!

mon/tues its just me and the bub, (although we need to work round kindy hours) thur/fri my older one is at home too!
