Hi Everyone,

I'm sure these have NO relationship to each other but I'm itching for a clue as to the gender of this bub ;)

A couple of years ago myself and 2 friends were all pg at the same time. We all had anterior placentas and we all had boys. Now my 2 friends both have posterior placentas and have both had girls. At my 12wk U/S I was told I had an anterior placenta but at my last Ob appt she thinks I have a posterior placenta and I've had a lot of movement already so I'm inclined to think it is posterior.

So I'm just curious. What was your placenta position and what was the gender of your bub?

Thanx

Oh, and I've made the poll so you can do multiple answers if you had more than 1 bub ;-)

Posterior placenta with #1 - Boy

Anterior placenta with #2 - Boy

So for me, the position of the placenta has nothing to do with gender as I have two boys

My placenta was anterior with both and I have a boy and a girl!
I got really bad acne and gained 30Kg with my girl, had beautiful skin and only gained 16kg with my boy.

2 posterior placenta's and 2 girls (posterior means at the back right? because that's where mine were)

With DD I had an anterior placenta, and this pregnancy I have a posterior placenta, and I am expecting a little boy.

I always forgot which is which, pregnant or not.

This is my third pregnancy with all placentas at the front. first two were girls and this one is a boy.

Well seems like there's absolutely no correlation.... I knew there wouldn't be. Just grasping at straws  Only 4 weeks to wait until my U/S!
