Good morning,

I'm 40+5 with #2 and have been getting slight cramping and lots of Braxton Hicks for a couple of weeks now. Last night between 8pm and 10pm I had braxton hicks followed by cramping every 8 minutes WITHOUT FAIL! I was sooooooo sure I was going into labour and that it was just the early stages, they weren't exactly painful just extremely uncomfortble and I couldn't laugh or do much through them because they were so uncomfortable.. I went to bed, had a couple more braxton hicks throughout the night but are no longer regular.. What's going on?! I never experienced this with DD, I woke up at 2:30am with DD and was in full active labour.

Has anyone else experienced regular braxton hicks??

I would guess its the early stages of labour. My contractions were not regular until my waters were broken.
Good luck.

I thought I was having regular BHs with DS2 as they weren't painful at all, just strong tightenings every 20 minutes. Turns out it was the start of labour all right. DS was born 5 hours later.

:fingerscrossed: hope its the start of something for you!!
