cabbage?

ok whats a nice way to have cabbage?
I am drawing a blank and got a 1/4 cabbage in my veg box.

I love cabbage...

I do it a few different ways, i will boil to cook & then fry up some onion & bacon in some butter & add cooked cabbage to that...top with sour cream...not healthy but oh so delish!

I also just like it boiled & then mixed with butter, pepper & vinegar:)

i am a cabbage lover too.

i just like it steamed (not overly done) with lots of marg/butter and salt an pepper yummo

also we make a cabbage salad here.

it is cabbage, vinegar, olive oil, garlic and salt (in proportions you like) its yummy:D

I have two recipes for cabbage thaty uses it raw.

One is a coleslaw style mix with shredded cabbage, kiwifruit, cashew nuts, sprouts (the pack with three diff sorts in it) and fresh mint leaves, and a dressing made from caster sugar, olive oil and lemon juice.

The other is shredded cabbage, toasted almonds, Chang's fried noodles, and a dressing from brown sugar, soy sauce and olive oil.

Both recipes get rave reviews at BBQ's and gatherings. If you like the sound of them PM me and I'll send you the exact quantities and dressing details.
