:idea: An idea for a BUBHUB meet-up..

A SCRAPBOOKING DAY (or afternoon haha)

There's a great Scrapbooking store on Port Road that allows you to use their workshop and tools for an afternoon for a small fee of $4.00

I also know of a store in same chain down on South Road, St Marys (area) who do same/similar deal.

Tools include books, magazine, help from staff if required, punches, line trimmers, die cutters, stamps, room-to-move and more..

Items can be a little more expensive buying as you need from the speciality store, but you save money in the long run paying only for what you use instead of going a little impulse crazy at the cheapie stores. Also, you're welcome to bring your own stash etc and its not required that you purchase items from the store.. as long as you pay your $4.00 (approx) to use the workshop.

I thought, if we are able to arrange an afternoon when bub's can be in care or babysat etc, maybe we could team up for a scrapper arvo, share our photos and pages.. and put our crafty mummy minds together..

i started a baby book for my ds before he was born.. and so far i havent even had the time or energy to touch it:(

i dont think id get much scrap booking done.. with ds there... hehe...!! so not worth meeting at a place like that for me..

When my DS Jake was about 10mo he started child care, one day a week so I had some time to myself to re-coup (single mum). Jake loved spending a half day with other little kids and lots of fresh craft and learning activities, and it gave me a chance to wake up my creative side! :laughing: But like most.. I've got a little way to go yet.. about 10-15 pages completed so far! :D
