Hey everyone

I need some inspiration!

well the theme for the party is a movie, but the host said anything 'vegas' for the girls!!

So throw some ideas at me, so i can put a costume together by next weekend please :D

and something that won't cost a fortune:)

Sequins, feathers, clevage (or lots of leg :D), ritzy, OTT stuff.

Have you hit the local op shops yet to see what you can use as a base?

oohh good ideas nomsie!!!

i have been dying to get to some op shops for agesssss they seem to be disappearing around here.... that would be a good place to start for sure!

Nice cocktail dress with a feather boa and maybe a big wig- and voila-cabaret singer

Maybe hire the movie Casino for some inspiration

My BIL went to a similar themed party as a playing card. He had this enormous card strapped to the front and back of him lol.

I love the bride idea :laughing:

Going all glitz would be lots of fun :yes:
I went to a las vegas theme party for new years and went as a croupier - very easy to put together (especially for me since i used to work as one ;)) just dress pants/skirt, white dress shirt, vest or bowtie, sleeve bands, name badge - you could bring some cards or a roulette stick also if you really wanted to get into it.
I'm guessing most will go the showgirl type costumes so a dealer a bit different.

if i went as a bride though it would have to be super trashy haha...maybe i could get a 80's wedding dress from an op shop...hmmmm

thats a really clever idea too! how will i decide now! where would i find sleeve bands? i could wear suspenders too :D
