Hey there,
I'm a journalist student from QLD currently trying to write a story about adopting in Australia. While my focus will actually be on intercountry adoptions, I'd also like some insight into what issues and misconceptions about adoptions you think are important as adopters/potential adopters. How do others view your decision to adopt and how do you feel about the current legislation/policy in this area?
This is also an invitation to anyone who has adopted overseas or is thinking about adopting overseas to go on the record and share your story. This is actually a university assignment, but with any piece I do I will need your consent to publish the final story. Please feel free to contact me via this website if you are interested.
