View Full Version : Filling in time in the 2 week wait
 Hi Friends
I have just ovulated and am now entering the 2 week wait period. This period drives me crazy with thoughts about pregnancy and baby - I find it hard to wait till AF is due to try a HPT :banghead:
What things do you do to keep your self distracted and make time pass quickly during your 2 ww.

Hi! I am in the same boat at the moment - O was today (i think) so am facing trying to think of anything BUT AF or a HPT.
I am going to try & keep as busy as possible to try & make the TWW go fast. It's almost spring, so a bit of spring cleaning is in order, and since I am usually such a messy person, it will probably take all of this TWW plus a few more to get the house in order! I cleaned out the spare room today & packed all of DD's old clothes & toys away (in hope i'll have to get them all out again soon) and will do more rooms whenever i feel the urge to go for a HPT!! Plus I have heaps on at work, and some studying to do, so once DD is in bed i'll try & get that done so I am not thinking about it!

I have long cycles so waiting for "O" is usually longer for me. Funny most dread the tww, I dread waiting to see if I will "O" in order to have a period. I am on cd 14 and don't plan on seeing "o" for another week or maybe even two. I just try to not stress and to think of everything that needs done and try to keep my mind off of it. Also I try to not take every twinge and pain as a pregnancy sign, because all the things that we think we feel each month is usually totally not related to pregnancy and if you stress over each little thing then it makes the waiting so much worse. Also, off the subject I just had to say It is the end of the summer where I live and 103 is the high today. Can't believe it is almost spring for some of you. I am from the U.S.(I just really like your forum). Good luck hope we all get BFP'S!!
