Hi all. I hope I am ok in asking this but I was curious what peoples reasons were for needing a surrogate?

At the moment im not at the stage of needing a surrogate as im not quite ready to start to have a family, but my reason is that i have a heart condition which combined with medication used to treat it make having a baby naturally extremely risky to my health and ultimately my life and doctors would strongly dissaprove of me becoming pregnant. This means in the future i will be looking for a surrogate
Thank you for replying :)

I need a surrogate to have a family. I had a hysterectomy at 22. I am now 35 and ready to have a family.
I am looking for a lady to help me make this a reality.

Hi,
Could someone point me in the right direction ~
I would like to help someone by being a surrogate
I am 31 with 2 children of my own :)
I am in QLD, Australia
Thanks :)
I have an autoimmune condition which affected me for several years as a kid. Basically, my body attacked itself and as a result, having a baby would be extremely risky as it would be seen as a "foreign" body, causing my immune system to go into overdrive again and either attack me, the baby, or both.

Just popped my head in here for a gander - definately agree with this I have two mild heart conditions and this pregnancy has been a nightmare - if we plan on another I will either have to have some radical heart surgery or be looking for a surrogate :hugs:

I had cancer of the uterus at the age of 33 and had a hysterectomy at the age of 34.
I did not expect this to happen, who could? and we did not have a chance to start a family at all.
we had some embryos frozen before my hysterectomy and we are planning for surrogacy in the near future. This is the only way we can try to have our own biological children.
This is my reason.
