my 2yr old has decided to train himself. he goes really well if he doesn't have pants on. he never wee's just anywhere, only on teh potty, even does poo's on teh potty.
put pants on him though and it's like he thinks he has a nappy on and does wees in his pants. he'll tell me when he's doing it though, so i run him to the potty but usually too late.
the fact that he goes willingly and never has accidents (with no pants) makes me think he "gets it" or otherwise he'd jstu wee all over the place and not recognise the feeling to go.
so what shoudl i do?

hi,
My 2.4 year old DD is in the same situation. I tried TT her about 4 months ago with no luck as she 'didn't get it'. Now when she is pants-less she will only wee on the potty, then I put undies on her and she is just wetting them and also knows she is wetting them.
Just before she sat on her potty with her undies on and did a wee.

I have been TT her for 6 days now and I don't know what to do either.

Looking forward to hearing any advice
