hi, i'm new to this..thought i join so that i could find answers to many questions in my head about baby and other mums' opinions.

I have a 3.5 month old baby girl who has a little problem with sleeping by herself...it's really depressing to watch her cry:(

Hi little bee and Petey's girl,

Welcome to BubHub! Take a look around and get to know the different forums - we pretty much have something for every parenting problem.

LittleBee, you might want to visit our Sleep and Settling subforum (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=69), which targets your issue. As you'll find out, at your little one's age, its very much a matter of learning to sleep by herself etc ... few of us have naturally good sleepers when they are so new, and there is lots of rocking and patting and ssshing and co-sleeping and a million other solutions to dealing with that problem.

Petey's girl, you might want to join one of our Due In threads ... it's great to be able to chat to people who might be going through the same things you are.

Have fun :flowerz:

Hi. I am a new to this webpage, and expecting my first baby later this year (2010). At the moment, I am interested to see if there is a mother's group or something similar in my area (Menai).
Thanks. :-)

Hi Peteys Girl and itsmyfirst, welcome to BubHub! Lots of info can really help you all along the way! During my pregnancy all I read was many many threads here. It sure helped me finding answers.

Hi Jaq, thanks for the info. The sleep and settling forum is sure making me realise that many mums experience the same thing. My baby can sleep by herself now, it does involve a lot of sshhing and patting and of course crying!
And now I have a new problem , she is a true catnapper during the day  I guess I should just enjoy this moment while it lasts.
