hi there

i am just wanting to get some advice from anyone out there. i am currently 5 weeks pregnant and for the last week on and off every few days i get a dull ache down near my uterus area. it is not all all painful just a very mild throb that comes and goes. i went to the doctor and she said he isnt anything to worry about as it could just be my uterus contracting or the ligerments growing. i have had no bleeding and no severa pain anywhere. a few friends who have had children expirenced it also for the first few weeks. would love to know if anyone out there has also. m,aybe it will help me stop stressing.

thanks in advance. xx

Hi,

I'm 18wks pg too and I had the same sort of ache/pain when I was in the early weeks. It went away for ages and then came back at bout 16/17wks so I think it must be when stuff is growing/stretching!

Good luck with everything

Yep i had it too. I'm 17 weeks now and in the last week i have had some quite sharp pains especially when i go to get up from sitting. All that stretching going on down there.

Hey Liss,

I had HORRIBLE ache/dragging feeling in my pelvis for about the first 8 weeks, then it went away. I really kept thinking I was about to get my period.

I used to sit in the car and rock my hips back and forth because it would hurt so bad.

I got it back again in the last couple of weeks of my pregnancy too, my bub is now 17 weeks old!. :O

Goodluck! :)

If you are at all concerned it pays to go to your Dr. :) They will help set your mind at rest!
