Who's bub is on this?
What is the dosage bub is on?
Did it seem to work for bub?

My 3 month old is on it and has been for just over a month, was working but seems to not be very good at moment. I saw a GP last week in regards to his dose which is 5mg twice a day, this GP (Not mine) said I cannot increase due to age and weight. Then I saw my GP for myself today and quickly asked her about it and she said I can increase to 10mg twice a day.
DS was put on medication by a pead dr.

G.P's don't know enough about meds like this etc so you are best seeing & dealing with a Paed who know their stuff or getting a referral to a Paed GI who specialises in this area. They tend to be a lot more wary of higher dosages because they think it can't be increased due to age & weight but really if the reflux is that bad the meds are necessary iykwim.

My little guy was put onto Omeprazole/ Losec finally after months of battling with Zantac around 4/5mths, we did 5mg & it didn't really become effective until we were seen by a Paed GI at 6mths who had us tag teaming both with 30mg of Omeprazole/ Losec & 6mls of Zantac ... As he got older we did still have to fiddle with dosages because his didn't get better like most kidlets.

So go find a good doctor who knows their stuff because it may be that you need to tag team to get a good result.

Good luck !
