Hi mysteeq! I'll be in the 2WW very soon. Anyday now I will be doing my first IUI. I'm doing a natural cycle and of course I'm ovulating a few days later than usual (probably stressing about it too much). It's so frustrating becuase I've been using the OPK and the line was faint yesterday morning, not there last night and then a bit darker this morning ( but still not the same colour as the test line). I hate not being able to call anyone on a sunday. I guess I'm just afraid of missing the boat this month. Sorry to off load that frustration. I'm sure the procedure will be either Monday or Tuesday and then I'll be inthe same situation as you. My DH and I have been TTC for 2 years now. We've had numerous tests that all show up normal. We're really praying that IUI will help. Good luck in your 2WW. I'd love to chat with you through it since we'll just be a few days off each other.

i too are in the dreaded 2ww. im at day 6 past transfer. and i only have 5 more days to wait till BT (fri 18th). when is your BT. i too are so excited and the 2ww just seems to be going on for ever. hope your time passes soon too. :fingerscrossed: for you and dh.

mysteeq...I just had my IUI earlier today. I was so nervous because I wasn't sure whether or not to make the 2 hour drive to Melbourne or not. The signs were telling me to go but we didn't have time for a confirmation blood test until getting down there. I was stressing the whole time since I called in sick to work this morning. Anyways, the nurse said it was perfect timing and a great DH sample (which he was very proud of). So now I'm in the 2WW. I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up. I'll will probably try a HPT a few days before AF is supposed to come so I can time the possible disappointment. There's nothing worse than having AF arrive right before going to work.

Hi believer:Yep im going to test early i will test on monday and will be 10dp i cant wait any longer i tested last time at 10dp and it was a BFP so i guess im hopeing the same thing will happen this time so :fingerscrossed: .

What about you when will you be testing?How many dp are you now?

mysteeq... I'm 3dpiui and will probably test next weekend. I just don't want to find out anything negative before going off to work. Do you have to get a blood test one week after iui? I get mine on Monday. I asked my nurse if they can tell either way from that test but she said they have suspicions but don't really know. Has your nurse said anything about that?

Sorry, 1 more question.... when you tested 10dpiui last time, was it in the morning or night?

Believer:My doc said if AF doesn't come before the 28 Aug then its more likely i'll be preg and thats when i'll have to go in for a b/t if it does will i guess i dont need one.
I took a hpt last time at 10dpiui 1 in the morning and wasn't to sure if it was a line or not it was faint so i took another 1 in the afternoon and still the same a faint line on 12dpiui i took a digital test and it said pregnant.

I know all about it, we had 3 cycles of DI and got lucky on the 3rd cycle. The 2WW is bad enough, I think waiting the extra 2 days for my blood test after AF was late was much worse! Luckily it was over a weekend because I could not think about anything else lol.

Only symptoms i had was cramps and sore bbs but i have them this time round aswell so not to sure but i think it might be from the IUI or AF is on its way i was also going to the toilet alot aswell.I had really bad cramps last night worse then AF dont think that it looks good but im still praying :fingerscrossed:

Mysteeq... :fingerscrossed: that everything is still going well. It's interesting about the cramps because I had some minor ones yesterday which was a bit unusual being that I was 4dpiui. It felt the same as what I usually get when I ovulate, not like AF ones. I don't feel any today. My temperature has stayed higher than usual so far. I know I'm grasping at straws and probably looking for the tiniest symptom. I need to stop doing that. Have a great weekend!

Hey believer:I did test today im not to sure if its a bfp or bfn just yet i can see a very very very faint line not getting my hopes up just yet i will be testing again tomorrow and everyday until i get AF or go in for my b/t :fingerscrossed: that that line that i possibly sees gets darker im 10dpiui

Hi ladies today i am 12dpiui did another hpt in the morning it was another faint line went up town and brought digital test and another preg test preg test come up with 2 lines and digital test said (PREGNANT )Both me and dp are so happy right now i just only hope now that the b/t are a definite positive and that this time round i have a very healthy little baby.

Hi Mysteeq... well unfortunately IUI #1 was a BFN. I took a HPT on Sat. morning so I would have all weekend to deal with any disappointment. Of course AF showed up in full force Sun. morning. It was a really tough day. I'm feeling so much better today and have started looking forward to IUI #2. It's funny how everyone says you go broke when you have kids, but I actually think we'll have more money. The amount we're spending trying to get pregnant and then the trips we're planning to get our minds off things is definately more than a baby would cost. Have you gotten a BT yet or seen a doctor about your BFP? I'm so happy for you because it gives me hope that IUIs can work. Enjoy every minute of your PG!
