What was the best present you received at your baby shower?

I have a baby shower on Saturday and I always try to buy a gift that they would really like and be able to use. :yes: Since I am still on the road to TTC I don't have this experience yet..

So it got me thinking what is the best baby shower gift or present someone got you when the baby was born?

I received a big quilt which we have used to death already, and DS is only 10 months old. Every time we go to the park or beach, the quilt comes so that DS has something to sit on, and we also place it down in his playpen as a soft surface. It has been the most useful thing I received.

Also, if I ever had a baby shower again I would carefully word the invitation, as we received a lot of things which we don't use.

I never had a baby shower.. but what I would have LOVED to get would be a basket full of environmetally friendly, baby friendly, chemical free baby goods GAIA baby is my favourite right now.. If I had a friend expecting this is what I would buy them :)

Either that or some Baby bee hind cloth nappies:smiliedance:
