DS has been having nutella sandwiches for a long time now and I think it's time I made an effort to do new and different fillings. He is pretty picky, but I kinda feel that if I make them and send them he will eat them, so long as it's nothing too out there.
So what can you suggest that I can put on sandwiches that will be ok to be made at like 7am and then sit in the fridge until lunch time?
Cheese, hommous and avocado.
Grated cheese and carrot.
Turkey and cranberry.
Tahini and honey.
Cheese and pesto - yum :chef:
Salad - no tomato, too soggy.

ham and salad
chicken and salad
carrots and hummus
a way to jazz up the normal vegemite sandwhich too (which i saw a mum do at prac) was she would spread the vege on one piece of bread then roll it up so its like a tube and then cut it into bite sized pieces - so the toddler was still eating sandwhiches but it looked like a cool little spiral for something new haha :)
instead of sandwhiches too you would also do a little container with pieces of cheese, carrot, tomato, capsicum, celery etc pieces cut up, pieces of ham or chicken etc :)
