just wondering I have never had thrush or anything so I'm not sure what is wrong....

For the last 2 days my v parts are swollen inside and sore and tingles I thought maybe it was soap irritation but I haven't changed soaps.... I always feel like I need to wee but nothing when I go to toilet any ideas as to what I could be experiencing .....

when i was pregnant with ds1 i got thrush. i had your symptoms plus itching and yucky white discharge. i went to the gp and found out i had a UTI as well. so i went on antibiotics and got the canneston once pessary and cream. thats all i know about thrush. sorry :o

id say its thrush, go to the chemist and ask for Canneston - once pessary and cream. use it to the directions and if theres no change in a few days see your gp. :)

I have suffered from thrush a bit this pregnancy and used canneston. I have also started taking inner health plus and havn't had any problems since.

this might be a bit tmi but the best cure for thrush i have found is sperm. Sex hurts but it seems to take the pain away almost instantly and by morning all symptoms are gone.

Canestan :yes: but if you use the pessary don't use the applicator, use your finger. The applicator can be dangerous when used during pregnancy.
I wouldn't go with sex, because you will give the thrush to your partner, then he will give it back to you.

I don't think I would have sex anyway as it hurts to much and I wouldn't wanna spread it..... I was just amazed that sex can help it..... Thankyou for all ur posts
