Hi All,
Maybe a bit controversial - hopefully not on this site.
I would like some advice from others out there about pregnancy options. I am 40 (just) and without a partner (heterosexual). I live in Brisbane. I have decided that I would like a child - to try atleast. This decision has not come easily.
I have researched options. I am unsure of costs. This concerns me. I have private health insurance.
The main fertility centres I have found on the web in Brisbane seem to be QFG (Wickham Tce) and Monash IVF (The Wesley). I wasn't keen about going to Monash, but have had high recommendations from a medical friend about Dr Ross Turner (as an obs., but not sure about for fertility). I have sought a referral for him. Does anyone have an opinion? My GP has also recommended Dr David Lingard (QFG). Any thoughts on him as well?
Any feedback on all of the above would be appreciated.
