gift for newborn girl

i want to put together a basket of goodies as a gift for a good friend who just had a baby...
i received one as a gift about a year ago but quite abit of it i havent used...
what items could you suggest i put in? what couldnt have you done without? and what do you wish someone got for you?

so far ive got- baby panadol, travel wipes, travel change mats, paw paw cream, bottom butter...
any more ideas are appreiciated :)

Mittens
Socks
Disposable Nappies (if your not keen on MCN)
Stuff for mum (slippers/ moisturizer/ body wash/ maternity pads/ nursing pads (depending how close you are))
Dummies (I swore DD would never have one; but after a week of NO sleep one I got given was a god send)
Towels
Terry flat nappies (great for bums and cleaning up spills)
Wondersuits (or similar)
Singlets
Singlet suits
Nail clippers for bub
